Medical Biller – Home Health & Hospice

What You’ll Do

• Review and verify clinical documentation for billing accuracy

• Apply correct ICD-10 and CPT codes for home health and hospice services

• Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers

• Track, troubleshoot, and resolve denied or delayed claims

• Work closely with providers and patients to ensure smooth billing

• Stay current on payer guidelines and compliance regulations

• Support authorizations and pre-certifications as needed

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality

• Collaborate with a supportive billing team to improve processes

What You Bring

• Proven experience with Home Health and/or Hospice billing

• Strong grasp of ICD-10 and CPT coding

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing

• Proficiency with billing software, EMRs, and Microsoft Office

• Attention to detail and an eye for identifying discrepancies

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• High school diploma or GED (billing certification a plus)

• Familiarity with HIPAA standards
