Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Patient Progress – Implement treatment plans designed by registered occupational therapists to enhance patient function.
  • Skill Development – Assist patients in relearning daily activities like coordination and self-care after injury or illness.
  • Ongoing Assessment – Monitor and document patient progress, ensure home safety, and recommend treatment adjustments as needed.
  • Communication & Documentation – Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with healthcare teams for smooth care coordination.
  • Family Support – Educate family members on patient care strategies to foster independence and support at home.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications – Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Experience – At least one year of clinical experience as a COTA preferred.
  • Skills – Clear and compassionate communication, both verbal and written.
  • Requirements – Current CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
  • Spanish Speaking is a must.
