Experienced Home Health Coders – Work Remotely With Our Team!

Dependable Home Health is seeking two experienced, certified Medical Coders / OASIS Auditors to join our team on a Per Diem basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented professionals with strong Home Health coding and OASIS experience who enjoy working independently while supporting clinical accuracy, compliance, and quality patient care.

Medical Coding Certification is REQUIRED. OASIS Certification is STRONGLY PREFERRED.

What You'll Do

• Review Home Health patient records for accurate ICD-10-CM coding and billing

• Audit OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance

• Identify documentation discrepancies and recommend necessary corrections

• Review individualized plans of care for consistency with clinical assessments

• Ensure compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, and Home Health regulations

• Collaborate remotely with clinical staff and leadership

• Stay current with coding guidelines and OASIS requirements

• Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Current Medical Coding Certification – REQUIRED

• OASIS Certification – STRONGLY PREFERRED

• Strong proficiency in OASIS assessments and Home Health documentation

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding and Medicare Home Health guidelines

• Previous Home Health coding and auditing experience preferred

• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience preferred

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and coding software

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
